Review

If you are a dedicated student of the Holy Bible, then I'm sure you will find this simple yet powerful utility very useful to perform deep bible studies. As I suppose you already know, The Scriptures were not written in English language, but they actually were translated from three main languages: Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. And here is where Davar can help you a lot. This application is a free Hebrew dictionary that will help you understand the Holy Bible language and will allow you to discover the exact meaning of the words written in the past centuries.
Davar has a simple and easy-to-use Interface. The first time you open the application, the main window will be opened together with other six small windows that belong to the reference built-in books that the program includes. Those books are: "Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia", "Aleppo Codex", "Jewish Koren", "The Hebrew New Testament - Delitzsch", "King James Version of the Holy Bible" and "Tydale (Rogers, Coverdale) Bible".
Another interesting feature is that Davar program comes with a small PDF file where you will find a guide to understand and learn the ancient Hebrew spoken by Abraham and Moses. Learning this language with this amazing tool will be a nice experience.
Advantages
  • Easy to use interface.
  • 6 reference books included.
Disadvantages
  • None.
